Workshop 1
Pond Inlet, Nunavut. February, 2007
Night’s first workshop took place in Pond Inlet from February 18th/2007 to March 16th/2007. Under the direction of Christopher Morris, the creative team was: Southern Canadian creators Benjamin Clost and Michelle Fisk, German Film Artist Sven Nullmeyer, documentary Film Makers Samantha Reynolds and Borga Dorter, and Inuit actors Lamech Kadloo and Annabella Piugattuk. After four weeks of creation, a bilingual, multi-disciplinary piece of theatre was created that explored issues of identity, cultural assimilation and the importance of family. It was presented to a packed Pond Inlet Community Hall on Friday March 16th, 2007.
