Parwin Mushtahel

Parwin is an actor and writer who lives in Kabul. As a stage actor she recently acted in Sisters (which she co-created) and in William Shakespeare’s Love’s Labours Lost (this production was the source of a CBC Television documentary), both in collaboration with Kabul’s Foundation for Culture and Civil Society. She has acted in over sixteen theatres across Afghanistan and was awarded Best Actress in Kargardan. She has performed extensively in film and television in over 24 films and 100 short films and she is currently on the Afghan television series Bulbul.
